Golden Trove Youth Initiative (GTYI) is a youth-led and serving organization dedicated to advancing youth rights across Uganda. We believe in the power of collaboration with various stakeholders to advocate for fundamental rights that are crucial for the well-being of youth in our society. Our focus areas include promoting access to education, advocating for sexual reproductive health rights, improving water sanitation and hygiene practices, and enhancing livelihood opportunities for the youth.

Golden Trove Youth Initiatives has a humble beginning that traces back to the establishment of Golden Treasure Primary School, a community-based institution dedicated to providing affordable and quality education to underprivileged children. The journey started 16 years ago with a simple yet profound mission – to uplift the lives of poor and vulnerable children through access to education.
As the founders of Golden Treasure Primary School immersed themselves in the community, they soon recognized that the needs of the youth extended far beyond academic opportunities. The realization that holistic support was essential for the overall well-being and development of the younger generation prompted a pivotal decision. Thus, Golden Trove Youth Initiatives was born, expanding its vision to cater to the multifaceted needs of the youth. With a deep-rooted commitment to empowering young minds and creating positive change, Golden Trove Youth Initiatives has evolved into a beacon of hope for countless children and youth in the region. By embracing a holistic approach that goes beyond traditional education, the organization seeks to address the diverse challenges faced by the youth, nurturing their potential and fostering a brighter future for generations to come.
