GTYI can use technology to reach out to more vulnerable children and youth in Uganda. GTYI may interact with beneficiaries and stakeholders through low-cost technological tools such as Zoom, WhatsApp, Signal, Skype, etc. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube are examples of social media platforms that enable outreach to stakeholders and the general public.
Information transmission, advocacy, and resource mobilization can benefit significantly from the platforms. Software tools such as Information Management Systems and accounting packages can also improve efficiency, effectiveness, and control. Cash transfers to recipients have become more accessible because of the widespread use of mobile money services. GTYI might use technology to help with research, documentation, and information distribution.
