The potential risks are identified to ensure that the Strategic Plan is implemented successfully. Their probability and impact are assessed. The measures for mitigating the risks have also been developed – as shown below:
Risks | Probability | Impact | Mitigation Actions |
Lack of interest from the target group in participating in the economic empowerment programs. | Medium | Without sustainable livelihood opportunities, the project may fail to create a long-term impact | Improve infrastructure, train teachers, and implement student motivation programs. |
Cultural taboos, lack of awareness, and resistance from conservative groups may affect the SRHR initiatives | High | Restricted access to SRHR services can lead to health issues among youth and adolescents | Sensitize stakeholders, provide sex education, and offer confidential services |
Infrastructure challenges, lack of qualified and stable teachers | Medium | Poor education quality may hinder the empowerment of vulnerable children and youth | Water-borne diseases, lack of sanitation facilities, and limited access to clean water can affect the health of vulnerable children and youth |
Environmental factors, lack of infrastructure maintenance, water scarcity | High | Cultural taboos, lack of awareness and resistance from conservative groups may affect the SRHR initiatives | Install water purification systems, promote hygiene practices |
